About Nain Rugs
Nain rugs rank among the finest Persian carpets of all. Woven in the region around the central-Persian town of Nain, they are known for elegant floral medallions, a restrained palette of ivory and light-to-deep blue, and an exceptionally dense knotting.
Their hallmark is the fine silk outlining that gives the pattern depth. Quality is graded in “La” – the lower the number (6 La), the finer the rug. A Nain suits classic and modern interiors alike.
