About Bidjar Rugs
Bidjar rugs from the Kurdish north-west of Persia carry the nickname “Iron Rug of Persia”. A particularly dense, tightly beaten knotting produces a heavy, extremely hard-wearing rug that outlasts generations.
Typical are the Herati pattern or a central medallion in strong red and blue. If you are looking for a rug for life that shrugs off even high-traffic rooms, the Bidjar is the right choice.
