About Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan rugs represent the pinnacle of Persian weaving. From the former capital of Persia, they are knotted on a silk warp and display classic Safavid-era designs – Shah-Abbas palmettes, scrolling vines and central medallions in ivory, red and blue.
Many pieces are signed by the master weaver. Their extremely fine knotting and harmonious colouring make every Isfahan a collector’s item of lasting value.
