Craftsmanship with label and warranty
Every Zollanvari rug and flatweave comes with a label and warranty that stand for these promises:
Highland wool from the Zagros
Hand-carded and traditionally hand-spun – exceptionally supple and durable.
Vegetable dyes
Environmentally friendly dyes, applied at Zollanvari’s own dye house for consistent colour quality.
Never woven by children
Woven by nomadic women in small communities – child labour is excluded.
Every rug is unique
Each weaver brings her own style – it can even vary from one rug to the next.
Carpet design as a living culture
Zollanvari rugs, carpets and flatweaves capture the essence of carpet design and knotting – an art form cherished worldwide for over 2,000 years.
Inspired by the artistic heritage of the nomadic people of the Zagros mountains, Zollanvari’s patterns, colours and symbols keep evolving. Weavers are actively encouraged to let their own aesthetic shine through, so every rug is individual, expressive and truly unique.
