About Shiraz Rugs
Shiraz rugs come from Fars province in south-west Persia and are woven by the nomadic Qashqai and Khamseh tribes. Hand-spun, lustrous wool, tribal medallions, diamonds and stylised animals in red and blue define their character.
Small irregularities are no flaw in these genuine nomad rugs but a mark of their authenticity and individual handcraft.
