About Sarough Rugs
Sarough (Saruk) rugs come from the Arak region in western Persia. They are known for their dense, robust knotting and floral compositions – often lush sprays of blossom on a rose to salmon ground (“American Sarouk”).
The sturdy wool makes Sarough rugs especially durable and everyday-friendly, while remaining decorative and homely.
