A rare Seichur carpet in original condition. A small part of the upper left corner is missing and the carpet has a smaller deeper spot with a stain on the lower left. The colour of the rug is in very nice condition. The warp and weft threads as well as the pile are made of new wool. This Seichur is antique and it is rare to find an example in this condition. A comparable carpet in appearance but with a deeper weave can be found in Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford, England.
