Are all your rugs hand-knotted?
Yes, our range consists of hand-knotted oriental rugs and hand-woven kilims — every piece is a one-of-a-kind.
How do I find the right rug?
Filter the shop by origin, size, colour or material — or let us advise you personally. We’re happy to put together a selection for you.
Can I view a rug at home before deciding?
Yes. That way you can judge colour and effect in your own room. Just ask us about it.
How do you determine your prices?
The price depends on origin, age, material, knot density, condition and rarity. We value fair, transparent pricing.
Dimensions, material & care
Do your dimensions include the fringes?
The stated dimensions refer to the knotted carpet without fringes. If you have questions, we’re happy to measure for you.
When do I need an underlay?
A non-slip underlay protects the rug and the floor and prevents slipping — especially recommended on smooth floors.
How do I care for my rug correctly?
Vacuum regularly in the direction of the pile, rotate it occasionally and have it professionally cleaned every few years. More on this in the Rug Wiki under “Rug care”.
