A magnificent example of a Tekke Bokhara rug from the former Soviet Union is presented here. 21 göls adorn this well-proportioned carpet, which has extremely beautiful borders on both sides. Although the pile of the rug shows some signs of wear, its colouring is still of impressive beauty. The fine weave is strongly reminiscent of the traditional Senneh weave, which is particularly recognisable in older examples.
