A beautiful Kashkuli or Khamseh rug from around 1920. Good pile height and unusual beautiful green colour combination with a (wanted?) Abbrash at the top and bottom towards the earthy brown colours. Weakness in the pile at the centre of the rug which does not reduce the esthetics of this unique rug. The fringes are intact. The original custom seals are still attached to this rug (see detailed photographs).
