This rare Beshir wall hanging originates from the Turkmen influenced border region between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan and was crafted entirely by hand. The characteristic diamond pattern in rich red and natural tones creates a striking yet balanced appearance. Particularly distinctive are the long indigo dyed fringes which give the piece a lively, nomadic spirit. Such Beshir textiles were traditionally used as tent decorations or wall hangings, serving both decorative and cultural purposes. The condition is good with minor age related wear, adding to its genuine character. A beautiful collector’s piece and a strong decorative accent for contemporary or classic interiors.
