A very well-preserved Kazak from the Shirvan region in the Caucasus. Woven around 1930 with exclusively vegetable colours. Full pile. Fringes are closed at the top and bottom. This is known as a carpet beard. Unique piece in rather large dimensions. Also of interest to connoisseurs and carpet collectors. In very good condition.
