This Dosammark joval comes from Afghanistan and was traditionally part of nomadic equipment. The piece is flatwoven and features typical kilim elements with rhythmic bands in warm red and terracotta tones, complemented by dark blue and black outlines. The geometric motifs alternate in clear stripes, giving the joval a calm yet very graphic appearance. The even structure of the weave adds an elegant lightness to the textile. A small stain is visible in the lower right corner, otherwise the joval is in good condition.
