This almost square Afshar rug has a nomadic flair at first sight. Two medallions adorn this Mir-Boteh patterned rug and matching border. The rug has a small tear at the top (see detailed picture) and the pile is deep. However, this rug is very beautiful in colour, especially as the wool is also plant-coloured. The pile is made of good new wool and the warp and weft threads are made of cotton. Fringes are complete but slightly uneven in length. Single piece.
