A rare kilim with a so-called shield kazak design, the likes of which are very rarely found. Very beautifully preserved in terms of colour. The reverse is much more contrasting in colour. There is a colour run in the centre of the shield, but this can possibly be reduced or even removed. The upper left and lower right corners are missing and the kilim also shows some signs of wear in the pile. A decorative kilim with great charm and rarity value.
