Khorasan

<p>A magnificent carpet from the Khoressan region, whose capital is Meshed. Gyros patterns with Shah Abassi-like medallions adorn the light-coloured centre field of this excellent example of carpet weaving from this area. The centre field is colour-coordinated with the border, and the light background colour gives this carpet a brightness that makes any room shine. The pile is in good condition with some slightly deeper areas, but overall in good condition. Very beautiful border with a wonderful arrangement of patterns.</p>
