A very beautiful example of a Karadja bridge in perfect dimensions and with a wonderful border that matches the colour of the main field with the three medallions very well. The beautiful light blue colour gives the carpet its highlights and contrast. A very fine example of a Hamadan village rug from the village of Karadja. The fringes have been reinforced on both sides with anchor stitch.
