What is immediately striking about Persian Veramin is the colour and the beautiful uniform pattern. Veramin was long considered a very important knotting centre in Iran. Located southeast of Tehran, this city was for centuries a centre where nomadic carpets were collected and sold. What is special about Veramin is that it has never been influenced by foreign tastes. There are few Persian rugs that have remained as pure as Persian Veramin. The wool is also of exceptional quality and very supple.
