A very special Ghom carpet in square shape. Ghom is a city in the central province of Teherean about 140 kilometres south of the city of Tehran. The carpet from Ghom is relatively young and therefore without a long tradition. However, they are the highest quality carpets available today. Famous knotting workshops are Bolandian, Mir Mehti, Moussavi and Habib. Up to 1.6 million knots in this carpet. Super colours, best Persian silk. An oriental carpet in a class of its own.<br />
