A colourful Kashkai rug as traditionally woven in the Shiraz region in the province of Fars in Iran. These carpets are beautiful and were already appreciated by Sigmund Freud a hundred years ago and laid in his treatment room to convey calmness to his clients. Unfortunately, these rugs are rarely woven today and there is a trend that they are increasingly being replaced by Gabbeh rugs. Very reasonably priced, full pile wool on wool knotted in Iran.
