Excellent village rug from the village of Enjilas in Hamedan. Enjilas carpets are always of excellent quality and the fine knotting is an integral part of these carpets. The warp threads are often made of cotton and the weft threads of wool. The weave is symmetrical (Turkish knot). The main colours are light yellow, medium blue, deep blue and yellow-green. The colourful and floral elements are immediately noticeable in this type of carpet. Enjilas carpets are available in all sizes, but you are more likely to find smaller sizes on the market.
